Content Frameworks
Many organisations maintain a library of content designed to help employees deliver the organisations core business efficiently, or to help the customer understand what they can expect from the organisation. Today, we expect this information to be clear, concise and easy to access, even to those with complex access needs.
Often an adhoc approach to content development is adopted. With content created in PDF style documents as and when it is needed. This can lead to out of date, duplicative or conflicting material, which is hard to find and difficult to interrogate quickly. The process of keeping it in-date is complex and often becomes too difficult to do.
For many of us, our content is generated organically, leading to confusing or conflicting content. By developing a clear frameworkof content we help organisations:
- A clearlink to organisational strategy
- A complete taxonomy
- Simpler and less documents
- Facilitate online content which is easy to search
Through a framework based approach to content design it is possible to develop policies and procedures which are logically broken down into components parts. This enables the development of easy to search content, which has no duplication or conflict and is generally much more concise than traditional frameworks.
Our experience in this field is extensive and has helped large complex organisations to develop simple, accessible frameworks, which have enhanced compliance within the workforce as well as simplifying or reducing the amount of material.
